Aucun compromis.
No compromise. That was the motto when architect Peter Wedell-Wedellsborg started renovating this 145 years old courtyard building in the centre of Copenhagen. His dream was to create the ultimate townhouse. I'd say he succeeded pretty well! Townhouses can often be quite dark inside, but I love how this one is flooded with light.

A Göteborg
Another gorgeous flat from real estate agent Stadshem in Göteborg, Sweden. I like the mix of styles, the soft colours and the dashes of golden metal.

39 m2
This flat in Stockholm seems so spacious and bright that it's hard to believe it only measures 39 m2...

After an adventurous life, filled with passion and break-ups, in between Italy, Sweden and the rest of the world, Swedish Johanna Ekmark finally settled in this flat in Marseille two years ago. Her career as a photographer started long before, when she left her Italian husband and their farm in the Parma region in Italy, and ended up alone with two kids in Milan. Without any formal training, but with some black&white photos of her sons on hand, she went knocking on the door to Vogue Bambini. They hired her on the spot. In the beginning she pretended to "know everything", while she secretly learnt studio lighting techniques by watching her assistants... Today she works as an interior and kids photographer for magazines like Residence and Lantliv (Swedish), Marie Claire Maison and the kids brand Chicco.
And Marseille in all that? It's all about letting some love and sunshine into her life again!

I would love to move into this kitchen...
... I would need a big wooden table and chairs of Danish design, eg. Hans Wegner's Y chair...
... on the walls I would hang a few cool sound-absorbing panels from desenio, apparently 3-5 times more efficient than normal textile (rugs, curtains...) for reducing noice in a larger space...

... some big thrifted glass bottles would look good, with a branch or just as they are...
... I would definitely need a moodboard in my kitchen, on a black wall preferably...
... and finally, perhaps a little splash of coulour to brighten it all up, it's soon spring after all...
