Lotta Agaton shop

L'une de mes stylistes préférées, Lotta Agaton, ouvre une boutique à Stockholm aujourd'hui et j'aime beaucoup ce que j'ai vu pour l'instant! Définitivement sur ma liste des endroits à visiter lors de ma prochaine visite en Suède, et à rajouter à mon guide des magasins déco de Stockholm. La boutique n'est ouverte que le jeudi, mais un webshop est aussi prévue par la suite.

One of my favourite stylists Lotta Agaton is opening a store in Stockholm today and I love what I've seen so far! Definitively on my list of places to visit on my next trip to Sweden, and also add to my design shopping guide for Stockholm. The store is only open on Thursdays, but a webshop is planned later on as well.

Un duplex à Rörsjöstaden

J'aime beaucoup les couleurs douces de ce duplex dans le quartier de Rörsjöstaden à Göteborg. L'atmosphère y semble si calme et reposante... Quelques détails que j'aime tout particulièrement: le carrelage de la cuisine, l'escalier, la peinture au-dessus du canapé, les fanions dans la chambre, et les fenêtres foncées.

Maintenant je pars pour un après-midi de shopping, car dans trois jours je m'envole pour la Suède! J'ai hâte!

I like the muted colour scheme in this 2-storey flat in Rörsjöstaden, Göteborg. There seems to be such a quiet and relaxing atmosphere... A few details that I especially like: the tiles in the kitchen, the stairs, the painting above the couch, the pennants in the bedroom, and the dark windows.

Now I'm off for an afternoon of shopping, because in three days I'll be flying to Sweden! Can't wait!

Sainte Lucie

Notre maison à 7h ce matin: des bougies allumées partout, des brioches au safran (faites maison) et des petits gâteaux à la cannelle (faites IKEA) sur la table, des guirlandes argentées dans les cheveux, et la musique traditionnelle sur Spotify... Parce qu'aujourd'hui, nous fêtons la Sainte Lucie! Pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas cette étrange coutume, voilà à quoi ca peut ressembler version grandiose, personnellement je préfère la version mignonne. Et pour tout savoir sur la Sainte Lucie, c'est par ici.

Autre bonne nouvelle du jour: La Maison d'Anna G. compte maintenant plus de 1000 fans sur facebook! Sans vous ce blog n'aurait aucun intérêt... alors MERCI!

Our home at 7am this morning: candles lit everywhere, saffron buns (homemade) and cinnamon cookies (IKEA made) on the table, silver garlands in our hair, and traditional music on Spotify... Because today we are celebrating Santa Lucia! For those of you who don't know this strange tradition, this is what the grandiose version could look like, personnally I prefer the cute version. Other good news today: La Maison d'Anna G. now has more than 1000 followers on facebook! Without you this blog would not be worthwhile... so THANK YOU!

Les images que j'ai montrées hier venaient de Kvist, le blog de la styliste norvégienne Kirsten Visdal. Kirsten est aussi l'auteur du livre "Naturligtvis" dont on a pu lire une chouette critique chez Emma l'autre jour. Bref, sur le blog de Kirsten j'ai aussi trouvé tout un tas d'autres images inspirantes, aussi bien du livre que d'ailleurs.

The pictures I showed yesterday came from Kvist, the blog of Norwegian stylist Kirsten Visdal. Kirsten is also the author of the book "Naturligtvis" for which Emma wrote a great review the other day. Anyway, on Kirsten's blog I also found a whole lot of more inspiring pictures, both from the book and from other places.

2012 Tangerine Tango

C'est officiel, Tangerine Tango est le nom de la couleur de l'année 2012 selon Pantone. Ce rouge orangé succédera donc au Rose Chèvrefeuille, couleur de l'année 2011. Voilà ce que le Pantone Color Institute dit à propos de Tangerine Tango:
"Sophistiqué, mais à la fois intense et séduisant, Tangerine Tango est un orange très profond. Rappelant les ombres rayonnantes d'un coucher de soleil, Tangerine Tango marie la vivacité du rouge et la montée d'adrénaline qu’il provoque avec la convivialité et la chaleur du jaune pour former une teinte magnétique à haute visibilité d’où émanent chaleur et énergie."
Alors pour rajouter un peu de chaleur et d'énergie à votre intérieur et à votre vie, une touche de Tangerine Tango suffit... c'est Pantone qui le dit!
